Sadly in the last few weeks we have lost two of our beloved sponsor dogs Flybe and Mollie.

This week we’ve had to say a very sad farewell to a long time friend Flybe Mouse. She came into Pip’s life after being rescued from a drug addict, we can only imagine what her life was like until the day she came to us. A gentle looking soul, Flybe commanded the respect of any dog that came to live with her, be it permanently or on a temporary basis such was the strength of her character, but could also turn on the charm if needed, one angelic look and Pip melted. Flybe you will be sorely missed by everyone that knew you but none more so than Pip, Flybe we wish you a safe journey to Dog Heaven to meet up with your friends made during the 16 yrs of your time on earth. R.I.P Flybe xx

We are sad to announce that we have had to say goodbye to our dear Molly Moose.
Molly came to us in October 2006 and lived happily with her brothers and sisters and the many foster dogs she shared her home with over the years.
She was a complete Diva, but couldn’t cope with any changes in her life.
Her brother Murphy, (another EGLR dog) passed away just 7 weeks ago and Molly seemed to lose the will to live after this – they were together over 14 years.
She still enjoyed short walks until a few days ago, but then deteriorated further and we had to make the decision to help her over the bridge.
She passed away quickly and peacefully in our arms.
Run free beautiful Princess – we’ll never forget you.
