SAD UPDATE: I was privileged to have chichi in my life, she was such a strong character and so funny, she gave us so much love and definitely told us off if she was unhappy with something we did or didn’t do, beautiful chichi went over to rainbow bridge in my arms, it was very quick but very painful for us we all loved you sooo much and wished we could have had longer with you, but we were blessed and honoured to have you in our lives.pip

Chichi and Rainbow had a day out, and a Sunday roast, both had a lovely day.

Sadly Chichi’s biopsies have come back as cancerous so she will be having palliative care with us.  We have no time scales but until it starts to effect her life we are going to hold off  giving her the steroids on vets advice, and use as a last option when needed.  We are all terribly sad but hope we can make whatever time she has as special and wonderful as we can.

Please meet little Chi Chi one of Pip’s special honorary lurchers, she came in emaciated with a mouth full of rotten teeth, all her glands were swollen and she has a 50 pence piece size lump in the side of her face.  Chi Chi weighed 1.2kilos when she came in, she also has fur loss.  This very special girlie has been on antibiotics for 3 weeks, has been wormed for parasites, is on pain relief and anti inflammatories, she has had a blood test and we are waiting for the results.
